DIY - Home Router's power backup / Uninterupted Power supply

"You discover when you need something and know, it might exist"

[Draft -- FIX ME]

In India, back dated in 2009 - 2020, we still have power cuts and have technical challanges due to it. Me being technical person require to be online for my work.

When there is a power cut:
1. You loose connectivity, live sessions, VOIP, etc
2. You work may be lost,
3. IRCTC tatqual ticket could not be booked
4. Important banking transactions

With lots of patience you either need to hook to your un-reliable mobile based network connectivity. The good part, BTS have power backup solution to avoid blackout/outage for specific areas.

Nevertheless, looking for options over internet, how to solve this power issue got few solutions:
1. Inverters (600 KV - 1200KV)
2. UPS (600-1200 KV)

With this option, inverter best suited as it servers the purpose for entire house as well and hot, sweaty, scratching summers. Finally got it installed spending approx 15K INR and sit back.

Started relaxing and assuming all well set till next attack on the session discontinuation and with shame  while presenting a very important case study for new proposal to get clients buisness improvement. Anyways, the next got reconnected in 3 mins, but it was pause with high authorities.

Anyways the next day target, spoke to agency and told about power failure and condition. He asked that you need to have special UPS capability based inverter. Got replaced with higher configuration and done, but service engineer gave a warning regarding surge handling and effect on battery life cycle.

I was happy for 2 years when then issue aroused with disruption and this time it was surge load on inverter and battery had weakened as well. Next soultion replace battery.

With putting up risk calcuation and cost required:
1. Isolate the issue and target
2. Lower cost.

Few people created a DIY solution and many were available in market similar to Inverter based, but reviews did not speak positive. So decided to make one.

With point that with inverters we lived and know its limitation we were happy.

Lets get started making of it. I will give product details, you can google or speak to your local vendors to get you these products or buy online
